Headpins (also calles prism pins) have a small area on one side to prevent slippage of the beads. This circumstance makes the pin versatile in jewelry making.

Headpins are mostly frequently associated with earrings. All you need is to thread your beads, reduce and tigthen the upper end with a round nose plier to an eyelet. Thereafter, hang the pin on an ear hook, ear stud, etc.
You can use headpins also to beam one or more beads as one or more supporters of a necklace or bracelet (charm bracelet). Strung is the eye of the headpin which you have turned yourself and not the bead itself.
